Citizens by birth or choice of a common country, that country has a right to concentrate your affections. The name of 'American' which belongs to you, in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of Patriotism, more than any appellation derived from local discriminations."

Good morning!
President-elect Donald Trump continues to announce appointments for his second administration. I was having trouble keeping track, so I thought maybe others were having the same issue. Below is a list. Study this list and then compare it to George Washington's cabinet. See what you think.
Here is a list of noteworthy nominations by President-Elect Donald Trump: *
First, just a brief note: The President's Cabinet is made up of 15 leaders that are each in charge of an executive department. The nominations of the president will be confirmed by a majority of the Senate, unless the Senate is in recess. If the Senate is not in session, the President can make "recess appointments. An * by the name means it does not require Senate confirmation.

Time will reveal the wisdom of Trump's second administration. Let us pray for his wisdom and discernment as well as that of the Senate.
All of us will delight in some choices and have concerns about others, but we can be sure of two things. First, God has given a chance to extend the life of our republic a bit longer and we can work easier knowing that the man at the top is one who loves this nation and wants to see it prosper. This is our one chance to restore Constitutional government, and it won't be easy.
Second, there are no guarantees in this life, but we all have a role to play in God's plan on this earth. Let us never despair of our faith or of our country. Faith is having certainty (hope) of things unseen. We must keep our faith. The Bible verse that has been my mantra for the past month is this, "Be strong, all you people still left in the Land. And now get to work, for I am with you, says the Lord of Heaven's Armies." (Haggai 2:4 NLT)
Let's get to work and stay on God's side no matter what.
